On the Atlantic Coast survive, yet safe from mass tourism, a handful of resorts in which the holiday is meant as days of peace and relaxation, in contact with the wild nature

Costa Bonita

Just 12 km from Necochea travel along the coastal road to reach Costa Bonita. Although its name says it all, it is a beautiful beach characterized by its amplitude, with rocky areas, undulating roads, buildings on the dunes and thick sand and stones of various sizes and colors. Besides the beach, sites of interest are: Rocky Point (a kind of breakwater that gets into the sea, 1,200 meters wide), and the Lourdes Grotto Bay Winds. The latter site is next to the rough road that connects Quequén Costa Bonita, between white houses Mediterranean style rock and sand beaches.

Reta

With quaint streets and wide beaches, Reta is a tourist village to keep in mind if you search tranquility amidst nature. In the party of Tres Arroyos, a long chain of dunes -are set by tamariscos- separates the waters of the spa, where you can cross the tunnel Submedanal curious, allowing passage to the beach below the dunes. Another unique place to enjoy and contemplate unhurried place is La Boca, that is, the mouth of the river Salado Quequén at sea. And Reta also features a lagoon, where a freshwater lagoon dies at sea across the creek El Gaucho, 2 km from the beach.

Dunamar and Marisol

The party of Tres Arroyos houses two other spas almost secretly Dunamar Claromecó is separated from the homonymous stream, while Marisol Quequén is near the Salado River. A few kilometers apart, Dunamar was created and forested by Ernesto Gesell and his family, after an arduous task to fix the dunes. Both resorts are noted for their long beaches with gently sloping, lush trees, dunes and lagoons with abundant fish. Marisol windsurfing, water skiing and surfing are also practiced; horseback riding and 4x4 safaris are organized; ATVs are rented in the pristine dunes and surf kayaking on the river.

Pehuen-Co

Warm waters, dunes and forests, plus a rich paleontological heritage. These are the main features spa located 7 km from Monte Hermoso and 80 km from Bahia Blanca, well south of the Atlantic coast of Buenos Aires, the party of Colonel Rosales. Here is the archaeological site known as El Pisadero where human footprints of 7000 years old and fossil traces of extinct megamamíferos, whose importance was nothing less admired by Charles Darwin observed, and Florentino Ameghino. Worth hiring tours or rent ATVs to negotiate sand dunes and trails through pine forests. And if the wind is strong by the sea, the Laguna Sauce Grande is a good haven with its small beach.
